Getting A Vermont Real Estate License
As a child I remember many ski trips to Vermont during the winter months. Now as a grown up I make it a point to spend as much of the winter up there as I possibly can. I have now hatched a plan to get my Vermont real estate license so that I can spend the winter months up there and work as well. The area is chock full of vacation homes as well as residential. With my long history in the area and a Vermont real estate license in place, how can I fail?
Recently I attended a couple of seminars about becoming a real estate agent that were hosted by agencies in the Vermont area. The speakers talked of a vigorous sales market and tourism industry. They spoke of all of the benefits that having a Vermont real estate license could provide. another area that was covered was the topic of foreclosures and how there are very few reported in this area. By the time the last seminar was over I was sold n the idea of getting my Vermont real estate license.
Because I do not live there full time the logistics of working for a broker in the area may be a bit challenging for me. Hopefully, I will find that I am not the only person who has hatched a plan like this. Maybe I can job share with another agent and they can take over listings when I am gone. First, I have to look into real estate school so I can get a Vermont real estate license. From there I will have to work things out.
From the information I gathered at the seminars, the coaches and sales people talked about the strong real estate market in this area. Listings sell quickly and for a good price. The beauty of the area and the outdoor activities are what keep the market strong. The spring and summer are equally as lovely and hiking and outdoor sports keep the tourism booming during the warmer months. The air is clean and the living is easy. This helps keep the market strong and growing. The seminar also gave information about all of the investors that buy real estate in Vermont and rent the properties for income and value growth potential. Getting my Vermont real estate license seems to be a good idea and from what I can tell I should be able to earn a good income as an agent in this part of the country. If I can earn money while I am there then I will be able to stay there longer each year. I would love to eventually move there full time. If I am a successful agent then maybe I will someday.
